Blue Class News

Blue 1 and 2 had the most fantastic time at Forest Schools on Monday! Amongst other creatures, the children found frogs, toads, newts and even a giant leopard slug. It was fantastic to see both classes getting so involved in the session and making the most of a fabulous working environment.

Maths lessons this week were based on counting forwards and backwards from a given number by multiples of 1, 10, 100 and 1000. In English, Blue 1 produced some amazing diary entries from the perspective of an insect or animal they saw at Forest Schools. The children are very confident in using the key features of a diary and were extremely creative in their writing.

We rounded off our People RE topic with some historical analysis of Jesus's family and look forward to next week when the month of the rosary will be starting.

Have a wonderful weekend!
