After our recent short Ofsted Inspection, the report arrived in school yesterday. I have attached a copy for you to read. The report will also appear on the Ofsted website in the coming days
The report highlights many strengths of our school, and is testament to a whole community working together to ensure the best possible experiences for our pupils. This school continues to be good, and the inspector goes on to say that the school may have improved significantly overall. As a result, our next inspection will be a Section 5 inspection when the overall judgement of the school could be amended. The inspector highlights the school’s ambition for continued pupil improvement and the broad and balanced curriculum.
Thank you to you, our parents, for your ongoing support. It is greatly appreciated. We are committed to providing the very best educational experiences for our pupils and I know that you as parents share that passion with us. The way in which you support our school and your children contributes to the inspector’s judgement of the school.
We are very fortunate that there is such a dedicated team of staff here at St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School who give their all each and every day to ensure the school continues to move forward and constantly strives to do better. I would very much like to thank them and my fellow governors, for all that they do for our pupils. It is a team effort, but I would like to thank Mrs. Husain personally for her work over a number of years and also coming into the school whilst on adoption leave to meet with the Inspector.
We can all be very proud of St Joseph’s Primary school, and I am pleased that the report reflects where we are at this moment in time. Dr Viana and the rest of the staff will continue to strive for the very best for each and every child in their care and build on where we are now.
Enjoy reading the report.
