Blue Class News

Blue 1 started today with a lovely assembly about St. Brigid. She is one of the patron saints of Ireland, and today is her feast day.

Later in the morning, Years 3 and 4 were treated to an informative talk about Egypt by Emad's mum, Mrs Gad. The children really benefited from her knowledge and it complimented their lessons to date beautifully.

In other lessons this week we have: looked at prayers which carry us through the day, calculated the perimeters of rectilinear shapes, carried out research on Howard Carter and examined the uses of canopic jars thousands of years ago.

Wishing you all a safe weekend.
