Head's Newsletter

Dear Pupils, Parent, Staff, and Governors,

The summer term seems to be flying as we are so busy in school and there is still so much happening. Next week we are holding our annual Sports Day.  Key stage one and key stage two will be going to Paddington Rec on Thursday 28th.  Sports Day is a fantastic day and it is always so lovely to see so many parents there cheering and encouraging. On Thursday will be having our family picnic at the rec from 11:30.  Miss Armstrong will be sending out detailed information later on today.

On Friday 29th Early years are having their sports day from 9:30 at school. This will follow the morning celebration assembly.

On Monday 25th we will be welcoming our new nursery parents to a meeting about nursery provision. This begins at 9:30 in the school hall.

On Wednesday 27th June at 2:30, Cecily Engle, our school linked psychotherapist, will be   giving a talk to parents of children in Key Stage Two about strategies to manage pre-adolescent children.  This promises to be a very informative and relevant talk and there will be plenty of opportunity for questions and discussion.

Preparations for the summer fair are well on the way.  If you can help in any way, please contact the summer fair team led by Mrs Koczan Santiago.
On 29th June, children can again wear own clothes and bring in a jar filled with sweets and a pound.  All pounds will go towards buying prizes for games at the summer fair.

On 6th July, children can again wear their own clothes and, this time, should please bring in a homemade cake for the summer fair. Finally, Nicholas Weich in Pink 2 was nominated to take Jarvis home this weekend because of his wonderful conscientiousness, respectful and caring behaviour towards others. We are sure that Jarvis will have a splendid weekend.

May God bless you and keep you and your family safe.
