Nursery News

This week the children have been happily engaged with their friends, extensively exploring all areas of the environment. It is wonderful to see the established friendships and the joy they have being together. We have been talking a lot about what makes a good friend, and how it makes us feel having friends. A highlight and great success was the making of their friendship bracelets. Was exciting for the staff to see the children wear them back to school and proudly show each other.

Thank you to our parent helpers. The children got to enjoy two wonderful cooking sessions this week.

Our garden is looking magnificent, thanks to the green fingers of Miss Braga and the children. Our sunflowers are very close to blooming, and we have had many visitors to our garden to observe.

The children  worked hard at learning their songs for our Father's Day ssembly and making their dads a lovely gift. It was wonderful to see such a large turnout of dads. We wish all our dads and grandads a Happy Fathers Day.

Please remember school hats. Even if it is a dull start to the day , we would like the children to bring their hats everyday. The afternoons can be quite hot and the children require their hats. Thank you for your help.

Please remember to read the daily notices as we keep you up to date with the events leading up to our summer fair. Their is a large notice on the doorway  with the dates for bringing things and with  children wearing their own clothes.

Thank you.

Have a happy weekend all, especially our dads.
