Blue Class News

This week we were paid a visit by a representative of Mary's Meals. The children were shown the widespread work the charity undertakes and how we can all help to make children's lives better in countries such as Malawi. Each class is now taking donations for the annual backpack appeal.

In Religious Education, the children have started their new topic 'Self Discipline.' They have looked at the three practices of Lent: Alms giving, Prayer and Fasting. On Monday morning, the Year 4 children took part in a Lenten Mass lead by Father Jeff. He reminded us of the importance of being reflective during Lent.

Yesterday, Blue 3 danced up a storm in their colourful assembly. They entertained us with their own version of The Stinky Cheese Man and brought The Cat in the Hat to life. Well done to all!

Please note that Year 3 will attend Our Lady's Church on Monday for a Lenten Mass beginning at 10.30am.
