Nursery News

We have had such a full and amazing term here in Nursery. The children are happy and settled thus allowing them to become fully involved with the environment and establishing good learning choices.

We have finished the term by looking at how to keep ourselves healthy and how to look after ourselves. We have established good washing hand practice with the use of visual prompts above the basins. The children got to look, touch, smell and identify different fruits and vegetables, finishing with making pumpkin soup.

We are now participating in the whole school Readathon so the holidays are a good time to visit our local library. We finished the term with our 'Pyjamas Day' and look forward to the parents coming to read to the children during the first week, finishing with our Book Character Day. Next term we will start looking at Colour, Light and Sound.

Thank You to our Reception parents who hosted the Harvest Supper. It was a lovely evening and was nice to chat to everyone in a social setting.Thank you to our Nursery parents for their generous donations of raffle prizes.

Enjoy the half term break and we look forward to seeing you all on Monday 29th October.
