Nursery News

Wow! Its been very busy in Nursery this week, with much going on. The focus on'People who help us' has been of high interest for all the children. We had a visit from one of our parents who is a respiratory nurse. This was an engaging talk that was very interesting for the children. She allowed them to look at and try her different medical instruments which helps their understanding and build their knowledge on what they are named and how they work. Thank you from the teachers and children.

This talk  has enriched the children's role play in the quiet room.

In Phonics play we looked at the sounds of 's' and 't' and played 'Silly soup'.

For RE we continue to to look at bible stories and read the story 'Jesus feeds the five thousand.' Today we made bread and divided it amongst the children.

Next week we are looking at 'Joseph's Colourful Coat'.

We are collecting the money for our Art and Book weeks. Thank you to those that have paid. Please can you  pay this week if you have not already done so. Thank You.

Have a wonderful weekend.
