Nursery News

elcome to our new children who started this week.
The children have all settled well into Nursery and we thank you for supporting your child in separating from you. This can be a challenge and an emotional  time for families. The children have been well supported by the teaching team and are developing trusting and reciprocal relationships with us.

The week has been very busy for the children. The nursery is looking wonderful with their work displayed. They have been exploring the environment actively and happily playing alongside their peers.
We started our music and movement in the hall on Wednesday mornings. We take the children in small groups thus allowing them to learn to transition from the safety of nursery and moving confidently to other areas of the school. They were eager to listen to, and play different games and follow directions from us.

On Wednesday the children got to visit the Life Bus with the reception children, where they learnt about their body and what they need to keep their body strong and active. It was an interactive programme which they enjoyed participating in.

The children have settled into the routine of having their lunch in the hall. We are very pleased that they all eating or trying the food. On Monday our children who started this week will be full time and will join us in the dining hall.

A notice will be coming out soon regarding our Harvest Supper. Please remember to mark the date in your diaries. Friday 13th October from 6-8 pm. This is a wonderful chance to meet the other parents in a socially. It is our main fundraiser for the EYFS.

A gentle reminder to parents to bring in their family photos.
We look forward to welcoming our last group on Monday and getting to know them more.

Have a fun and safe weekend.
The Nursery team.
