Worms, slugs and all things creepy crawly.
This week, Y2 have been developing their love of length by measuring things around the classroom, drawing accurate measurements to the nearest milimetre and even working on word problems with length using a range of calculation strategies. Next week, we will be discovering the wonders of sharing and division, finding fractions of shape, amounts, money and measure. In English next week we will be learning all about Traditional Tales and retelling our own very imaginative version of The Three Little Pigs while in RE we will be understanding the importance of the Gospel and placing it within the context of the whole mass. We really enjoyed our exploration of the rich array of habitats in Paddington Recreation Ground and we loved digging up the mud and rolling over logs looking for millipedes, centipedes, slugs, worms, woodlice and snails.
