Phew, this week in Year 2 we are relieved to say we have finally been able toquench the raging fires of 1666. We enjoyed reinacting scenes from the Great Fire of London using water pistons, fire hooks and gun powder. In the style of Samuel Pepys we wrote an eyewitness diary account of what we saw and how we felt about that great tragedy. In Maths, we worked on our understanding of finding the difference between two numbers and used this knowledge to compare temperatures. Next week in RE, we are looking forward to reflecting on the events of Holy Week and learning from scripture the true message of Easter.
