It was a lovely week in Year 6. The children have been busy learning Christmas carols and they are sounding lovely. As it is the first week of Advent, the children have thought about ways they can be a better person as we wait in expectation for Jesus. Year 6 have made some Advent promises so hopefully you will notice your child carrying out some good deeds at home. The highlight of our week was a trip to the Houses of Parliament on Thursday. What a delight it was! Mrs Bradley, Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport, took time out of her busy schedule to bring our class on a special tour of the Houses of Parliament. It was such an informative and enjoyable trip. It was wonderful to be on the other side of the gates for a change. We are most grateful for the opportunity. Thank you.
