Nursery News

This week has been a busy week for the Nursery children.

We have begun talking about 'May is the Month of Mary' and how throughout May we honor Mary. The children are working towards saying the Hail Mary daily. We have all painted a picture of Mary and with the help of our parents we have written a prayer to Mary and have displayed them on our alter. On Tuesday we attended Mass with the whole school.

On Thursday we were treated to a wonderful workshop with Rachel from Drama4All. The theme was @The Jungle' and the children really enjoyed the music and movement session.

We are still watching for changes to our little tadpoles and will keep to monitor them over the coming weeks. They are of high interest to the children and their is always a group exploring and talking around the tank. We have done many varied activities to help consolidate our learning including making frog models with colour clay , painting and observational drawing and icing frog face biscuits. They have enjoyed the different small world scenes also.

The children are very competent learners and making good learning choices. We are blown away at the rapport in which they work together and the detail of their work. Well done we are so proud of your children.

Its great to see the week out with sunshine and may it carry on into our weekend.

Happy Bank Holiday to all. See you Tuesday.
