Our first week of the summer term has seen the children being very energetic after their Easter holiday.
In RE we have focused on the Resurrection. It is lovely to see that the children know the story and are beginning to have a greater understanding of it.
Our maths topic has been 3D shapes. Children are able to name a variety of shapes and are beginning to understand what properties we look for in these shapes. With some of the shapes the children can even identify the number of each property.
We have linked our topic work to our English this week and have been looking at Britain and its physical features. We then started to concentrate on London and the attractions that it has. The children are really enjoying this topic. Next week they will write an information sheet about an attraction of their choice.
