RAIN RAIN GO AWAY, COME AGAIN ANOTHER DAY

This week was Science week throughout the whole  school. The children loved the dress-up day and got to do some hands on experiments which they all enjoyed. They have learnt new language and knowledge from these experiences. We explored Shaving Cream Rain Clouds, colours with Baking Soda and Vinegar, ice ,planting of strawberry plants and volcanoes in the sandpit.

The children have been  decorating and planting their presents for their mothers. They have made a lovely card to go with this. They excitedly took them  home to keep as a secret till Sunday. It was lovely to see so many of our mothers  at the Mother's Day Mass. The children are displaying to us how well they can sit in our school assemblies and be an active part of the 'whole' school events.

We are coming to an end to our traditional tales. This focus has been a popular one for all the children. We will be finishing this term focusing on Easter. To further extend the children's building we have added wooden reels, wooden people and wooden cars. This area is a high focus area for many of our children.

A very Happy Mother's Day to all our mums.
