Blue Class News

Yesterday Blue 2 entertained the school with their Anglo-Saxon assembly. They amused us with some revolting facts and showed us their work on artefacts, and rounded off their assembly with a lovely rendition of 'Make me a channel of your peace.'

The children, as always, enjoyed a variety of sporting lessons this week. Year 4 showed that they are developing their batting and ball skills in the sessions with Middlesex Cricket club, as well as their ability to read the game. With Coach Grant, all classes enjoyed their Rugby based lessons. Miss Donnellan's class are also becoming skilled horse riders, and I hear they were trotting around Regent's park this week!

Next week we look forward to a visit from author Laura Dockrill to mark the start of the St. Joseph's Read-a-thon. She will be hosting an assembly at 9.30 am on Tuesday and all parents are welcome to attend. On Friday, the school will be hosting pyjama day. All children will have the opportunity to read throughout the day with different teachers in their favourite pair of pyjamas!
