Year 1 News

Year 1 have created some fantastic information leaflets on the Transport Museum which will make you want to book a trip there immediately! We were so impressed with everything they learnt and understood from the trip. In Maths, Year 1 have been using their place value knowledge to order numbers and some have even been tackling 3-digit numbers with great success. We have been reflecting on our neighbours all around the world in RE this week and look forward to learning the parable of the Good Samaritan next week. We have our multi-skills afternoon in Regents Park next Wednesday afternoon so we look forward to competing in some fun sporting activities.

Year 1 really enjoyed science week! Miss Dowling inspired us all on Tuesday with her exciting science experiment and it was lovely for the children to share their amazing 'Life on Mars' posters with each other on Thursday. In class we built our own hibernation dens using different materials and learnt all about animals that hibernate. We are looking forward to learning more about our RE topic 'Neighbours' next week.
