Head's Newsletter

A message from Mrs. Fleming

It is not long now until the end of term and we are starting to think about our Summer holidays, the friends and family that we will spend time with and all the jobs that we are going to be catching up on. We are also beginning to prepare for the next academic year and some of us may already have started telling our children that soon they will be in the next year group and so they must be organised / a good listener / practice their reading / learn their spellings. This is all true but we must not spend too much time looking towards the future as it will be at the detriment of enjoying the gift of today. Children grow up so quickly and their childhood is so precious; it is important to take time to celebrate their achievements and hard work during this academic year. These successes can be built upon during the next year but for the minute let us enjoy the moment, congratulating our children on their learning and making memories with them that will last throughout the years.

Welcome to...

...Danny, a baby brother to Charlie in Year 2 and Alessia a baby sister to Matteo in Year 1 and Joshua in our Nursery class. Sara in Year 3 and Elena in Reception also became big sisters to twin brothers on the 26th May. We send all three families our very best wishes at this joyful time and look forward to meeting the new arrivals.

Please pray for...

... All of our Year 6 pupils and the staff that are away this week in the Isle of Wight. We hope that they have a marvellous time.

...the Panis family; Gabriel’s great grandmother, who was 101 years old, died last week. We ask that you keep his family in your prayers.
