School Auction

Forget the Oscars the SJSA Auction night 2016 is nearly upon us! Please read the attached letter about the School Auction and don’t forget that even, if you are a member of a team working on the night you are still very welcome to bid on the auction promises, every contribution counts towards a more enriched education for your children and a fun night out for you!

Do you have any exciting ideas that you would like to share perhaps you can offer a tour of Chelsea Football ground or an upgrade from economy to business class or perhaps you design your own bespoke jewellery donations are warmly welcomed, both for the silent and live auctions so please don’t feel shy in coming forward – your school needs you.

JBay closes on 9th March – we are unable to offer an extension this year due to the short turnaround between the closure of JBay and the auction.

St. Joseph’s Book Week

Next week, St. Joseph's will be celebrating Reading and the World of Books with a wonderful array of activities including Children's Dress Up Day on Friday (children to dress up as a character from contemporary or classic children's literature bringing in the matching book, review and/or talk about the same) or Story Swap on Wednesday where teachers from different Year Groups will be sharing a story with another class. We will also be hosting the Scholastic Book Fair and urge you not to miss this opportunity to buy a book or two thereby raising money for the school. With every book sold, St. Joseph's gains more vouchers thus enabling us to buy more wonderful books for our children.

The Scholastic Book Fair will be running from Monday-Thursday in the School Hall from 3:30 pm - 4:30 pm with special morning slots on Thursday and Friday from 8:30 am - 9:30 am. Children will be given Scholastic Book Fair Leaflets and Order Forms on Friday - please check their Book Bags!
