London's Burning!

This week, we were transported to 1666 and witnessed the sights and sounds of The Great Fire! Next week, we will be using our sequencing skills and our vivid imagination to write our own recount of this famous event - look out for the fleeing rats! In English we have been inventing our own stories based on Mr Grinling such as The Teacher's Tea or the Farmer's Feast and now we will be publishing them using outstanding openers and borrowing our favourite phrases from David and Ronda Armitage. We look forward to sharing our finished masterpieces with you. In Maths we have been working on adding tens to 2 digit and 3 digit numbers using our partitioning skills so that next week, we will be ready for Super Subtraction. We have also had a simply super Book Week with Drop Everything and Read, Story Swap and much, much more.
